Yes, you will need a license!

We will always inform you of what you need but generally a WA freshwater license and catch record card is what you’ll need. One and 3-day licenses can be obtained at Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife license dealers.

Here’s a link to their site

No gear is needed, we provide rods/tackle/bait ect. No skill is required! These are fully guided trips!

  •  Rain gear is always a good idea, especially in fall and winter seasons (dress accordingly).
  • A cooler to leave in the vehicle to bring catch home.
  • Food & beverages for the trip.
  • Any medications you may need.
  • Kids under 13 will need to bring appropriate-sized life jackets to wear.

 Meeting Location
Launch locations vary depending on the season and fishery. We will always confirm the exact meeting location with you a few days prior to your trip so you have clear, detailed instructions.

All trips depart from a designated boat ramp or dock. We’ll be on the water, in the boat, ready to pick you up and get underway.

Typical launch areas include:

  • Spring & Fall Salmon: Approximately 20 minutes from Hood River, OR

  • Summer Salmon: Near Pateros, WA and Vantage, WA

  • Sturgeon: Bingen, WA

  • Walleye & Bass: Near Plymouth, WA

Meeting Time
Start times vary throughout the year based on daylight and seasonal conditions. In most cases, we meet at or around daylight — typically between 5:00am and 8:00am depending on the time of year.

Trip Duration
Guided trips are up to 8 hours on the water.

We understand that rescheduling can happen, especially in today’s world. Unless it’s an emergency, we ask that cancellations be made no later than 7 days prior to your scheduled fishing date. This allows us the opportunity to rebook your trip.

Emergency cancellations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We will work with you and your group to accommodate a new fishing date whenever possible — and we’re typically successful in finding a time that works. As always, the more notice you can provide, the better.

If a trip is canceled due to unsafe weather conditions, season closures, or unforeseen calendar conflicts on our end, your deposit will be refunded in full (100%).

Yes, children are welcome on our fishing trips.
